About Latinas In Tech
Latinas In Tech is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Silicon Valley with chapters across the globe. Its aim is to create a tech industry where Latinas are well-represented at all levels. Latinas In Tech strives to provide the resources, opportunities, and network Latinas need to thrive, innovate, and lead in tech. To do this, the organization establishes close relationships with tech employers to provide Latinas the resources and support needed for career success.
To ensure increased presence of underrepresented communities inside tech companies, Latinas In Tech focuses on the full tech ecosystem. The organization is made up of volunteers who are engineers, cybersecurity experts, data scientists, business development leaders, journalists, bloggers, entrepreneurs, investors, sales and marketing professionals, recruiters, and so much more. This robust team of experts work closely together to tackle the diversity and inclusion problem in the tech industry. This is done in partnership with top tech companies to ensure they are creating safe spaces for learning, mentorship, and recruitment of Latina tech professionals.

With the help of a Zoom Pro license, Latinas In Tech has bridged the gap between internal and eWith in-kind product donation support from Zoom Cares, Latinas In Tech has bridged the gap between internal and external gatherings, enabling the organization to further connect and expand accessibility and capabilities. Through Zoom, Latinas In Tech partners with communities that otherwise may have been geographically limited. Latinas In Tech also hosted events virtually during the COVID-19 pandemic, with more than 200 attendees joining from all over the globe. Latinas In Tech is proud to connect people living in Brazil, Spain, and Mexico with those in the United States to participate in training and virtual experiences.
